EOG member dinner before EOS

Don’t forget about the EOG dinner on the eve of EOS 2024. Each member organisation that is attending the summit can send one representative. When your organisation books a ticket for the summit, we will confirm a place at the dinner too.

This year the dinner will be held at Trinity Hall. Founded in 1350, it is one of the oldest colleges of Cambridge University and has stunning historic architecture. Tucked away on a beautiful riverside site by the city centre, Trinity Hall is home to a friendly community of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Welcome drinks will take place on the Latham Lawn and River Terrace. With its expanse of perfectly mowed lawn, attractive seasonal borders and majestic purple beech tree, Latham Lawn is a stunning outdoor space and leads down to the River Terrace where you can enjoy stunning views over the River Cam. Author Henry James (1843-1916) wrote: “If I were called upon to mention the prettiest corner of the world, I should draw a thoughtful sigh and point the way to the gardens of Trinity Hall.”

The dinner itself will take place in Trinity Hall’s medieaval dining hall.  Dating back to the hall’s foundation in 1350 and updated in the Georgian period, the room has a beautiful timber framed high-vaulted ceiling and original medieval features including stained glass crests and a Minstrels’ Gallery.

Interactive workshops – choose your sessions

The summit agenda includes a series of interactive workshops that offer the opportunity to dive deeper into key industry issues, including:

  • Getting to grips with financial regulations
  • Product and fabric durability
  • Using technology to benefit your business
  • Building and managing successful teams.

We have created an app for delegates to select workshop sessions, build and check your personal schedule, chat to the other attendees and create your event profile. Places on the workshop sessions are limited so if you will be at the summit, download the app now and select yours.

To sign up to workshop sessions:

  • Download the app HERE, or
  • Sign in on our website HERE.

You can then select your preferred sessions from the agenda – EOS 2024 Programme.

Networking dinner at the Tivoli

One of the most popular events during the EOS is always our networking dinner. We have chosen a venue that offers quite a contrast to the surroundings of the Cambridge Union. The Tivoli began life as a cinema in 1925, before being converted into a pub in the 1950s. Nowadays, it offers a unique social experience in the heart of Cambridge and boasts a roof terrace with great views, mini golf, shuffleboards, and amazing food and drink.

Join representatives from all of these great brands and organisations at the EOS in Cambridge.

Outdooractive app discount for EOS delegates

Our sponsor Outdooractive is offering all summit attendees 90 days FREE of the PRO option on its app. Once you book your place at the event, you will be able to head to Outdooractive and redeem the offer, with a code that’s valid until 30 November 2024.

You can check out some of the Outdooractive travel guides for Cambridge, both on the app and the website:

Activities

Along with a busy schedule of speakers and workshops, we’ve allowed time for some outside activities in the historic and beautiful city of Cambridge. These include:

  • Two early morning runs with Altra and the opportunity to use the brand’s latest shoes. Altra will be showcasing two new models of shoe for delegates to test out – the Experience Form and the Experience Flow. Altra’s foot-shaped toe box allows toe splay and sits naturally for a more comfortable fit, allowing the runner to move efficiently. Altra now offers both zero and low drop shoes. Join the brand’s team to try out the shoes and find out more about their design and development.
  • Afternoon walking podcasts with the #itsgreatoutthere campaign, supported by Ordnance Survey. Explore parts of the ancient and fascinating city of Cambridge, which is packed with stunning landmarks that tell stories from through the ages.
