Delegate registration for the European Outdoor Summit (EOS), which takes place on the 6th & 7th October at the Impérial Palace in Annecy, France, is open and the early bird rate has now been extended until 20th July, so now is the time to book your delegate place here.
Inspired by recent events of the last couple of years and by the Yin Yang principle of chaos within order and order within chaos – how the exchange between these can work together towards creating a greater balance in our lives, our work, and the planet. The overall content of this year’s summit has been developed under the heading ‘Finding Balance and Success Within Disorder’. More information on speakers and agenda can be found here.
Following on from keynote speaker Jérôme Pero’s (Secretary General, FESI) presentation on how EU policy is changing and how industry will need to step up in response to the climate and biodiversity crises, he will now be joined by Benjamin Billet, Policy Officer from European Network of Outdoor Sports (ENOS) for a workshop on ‘The EU Green Deal – So What??!! Paradigm Shifts in Policy and Opportunities for Collaborative Working’.
This will focus on how collaborative and partnership working could support genuine and concrete actions. ENOS will outline its policy position on the European Green Deal and focus in on key actions and recommendations that could be adopted and supported by the Outdoor Industry. The aim of the workshop is to share ideas and inspire creative thinking for a genuinely joined up and interdependent approach to helping implement the EU Green Deal and to support changes that challenge the norms.
Offering excellent value for money, the EOS is for senior executives. The ticket price includes a full two-day programme of speakers, lunch and refreshments on both days, activities, and networking evening.
The early bird delegate rate is just € 600 + VAT @ 20% for EOG and OSV members and €700 + VAT @ 20% for non-members. The two-ticket bundle has a saving of €200 respectively.
We are also pleased to announce that Bleckmann have joined us as Champion Sponsors of the Summit.
Bleckmann strives for partnerships with fashion and lifestyle brands alike, including members of EOG, in order to work together on end-to-end circular solutions. With the belief that these partnerships establish even better dialogue with brands, and therefore understanding (upcoming) future challenges in even more depth. This in turn leads to Bleckmann ensuring better service to clients, supporting their efforts on their journey to sustainability, and helping them to embrace circular solutions.
